Date: February 22 and 23, 2008
Place: Firestone High School, 333 Rampart St, Akron, Ohio 44313
District Qualifiers: Four individuals in each weight class from the Lake Catholic, West Branch, Twinsburg and Hoover Sectional Tournaments to the District Tournament at Firestone High School.

Times:
Friday: Wrestling will begin promptly at 5:00 PM. We will run 2 rounds of championship Friday night.
Saturday: Wrestling will begin at 9:00 AM.
Finals: Wrestling will begin at 6:30 PM
Coaches may pick up their packets at the head table from 3:30 to 4:30 PM
Admissions: The cost for tickets is $6.00 per session Each session requires a separate admission. There will be NO presale of tickets.
Video Taping: No one is permitted to tape an opponent and review the tape during competition. For the safety of others, no extension cords will be permitted. If a tripod is used, it cannot interfere with the view of spectators. It also cannot take up a seat if the seat is needed for a spectator. The tournament site does not provide a power source for taping.
Spectator Seating: During the tournament, no spectators, stat people, etc. will be permitted on the gym floor. They must be seated in the balcony chairs. Bleacher seating on the main floor may be used during the finals at the discretion of the tournament director. Only wrestlers, trainers, and coaches will be allowed in the main gym area. Only two coaches and/or trainer will be allowed in the mat area. Bleachers will be provided for the wrestlers in the back of the gym. A warm up area will be behind the bleachers.
Qualifiers to State: The top 4 place finishers in each weight class from the Firestone District will advance to the State Tournament. The fifth place finisher will be designated as the alternate in each weight class.
Concessions: NO FOOD, DRINK OR COOLERS WILL BE PERMITTED IN THE GYM. FOOD AND DRINK MUST BE CONSUMED IN THE CONCESSION AREA. There is NO SMOKING in the school.
